    土壌がもたらすクリスタル感と真南の方角がもたらす成熟度が組み合わさったソンメルベルグのワイン！ ラ・ロジュリーは、シャンパーニュ、アルザス出身の夫妻によって設立された2つの産地を股にかける超新星ドメーヌである。フランソワはアヴィーズで3世代続く栽培農家の生まれであり、現在2人が所有するシャンパーニュの畑は、フランソワの祖父母が1937～1960年の間にセレクション・マッサールで植樹した区画がベースとなっている。ジュスティーヌは中部アルザスのニーダーモルシュヴィア村の出身で、近年急激に人気が高まっているワイナリー、アルベール・ボクスレの現当主、ジャン・ボクスレのいとこにあたる。 ともにブドウ栽培やワイン生産に携わる家系に生まれた夫妻は2015年からシャンパーニュの畑の管理を徐々に引き継ぎ、2016年に僅か0.6haの畑とともに2人のルーツを1つにしたドメーヌ、ラ・ロジュリーを設立した。ファースト・ヴィンテージを2022年にリリースとまだ歴史が浅いが、恵まれた家系のルーツを活かし、畑を拡大しており、既に世界から熱い視線が注がれている。 「リースリング グラン・クリュ ソンメルベルグ」は、ジュスティーヌの故郷、ニーダーモルシュヴィア村にあるグラン・クリュ「ソンメルベルグ」で作られるブドウを使用。南向きの畑で樹齢約40年。熟したアプリコットや柑橘果実に、砕いた石が散りばめられた力強さと透明感が一体となったブーケ。濃密で力強い果実味をキレのある酸が支え、真っ直ぐで張りのある緊張感のある味わいに仕上がっている。フィニッシュを彩る塩味が印象的。 ■テクニカル情報■ 畑：Sommerberg、傾斜45°、南向き斜面 土壌：花崗岩 品種：リースリング100% 樹齢：40年 畑作業：健康的で、サスティナブルな畑にフォーカスした農作業 収量：20hl/ha 醸造：バリックで発酵、自然酵母、無濾過、無清澄 熟成：バリックで澱と共に11ヶ月、瓶熟12ヶ月 年産：1,000本 La Rogerie Riesling Grand Cru Sommerberg ラ・ロジェリー リースリング グラン・クリュ ソンメルベルグ 生産地：フランス アルザス 原産地呼称：AOC. ALSACE GRAND CRU ぶどう品種：リースリング 100% アルコール度数：13.0% 味わい：白ワイン やや辛口 ワインアドヴォケイト：99 ポイント The Wine Advocate RP 99 Reviewed by: Stephan Reinhardt Release Price: NA Drink Date: 2024 - 2060 From a total of five different plots, including Tiefenthal and Kirrenbourg, and based only on the old vines, the 2022 Alsace Grand Cru Schlossberg Riesling is very clear, fresh and complex on the minerally intense and herbal nose with all its layers of ripe fruit, weathered granite rocks, herbs and flowers. Highly refined and elegant on the first palate, this is a full-bodied, intense and rich yet crystalline, very elegant and highly stimulating Schlossberg with fine tannins and bitters on the complex, endlessly saline and well-balanced finish. This is great, complete and touching Riesling and one of the finest Schlossbergs produced in 2022. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2024. The last few years have not been getting any easier, not even in Alsace. Increasingly, drought and heat are affecting the vines, and the younger they are, the more they suffer. In any case, the Barthelme family is fortunate to have such a high proportion of old vines that are not affected by drought stress. Even in 2022, it was possible to produce a magnificent Schlossberg Riesling that is among the best I have ever tasted from this Riesling-granite site, which is endangered due to its barrenness. It seems unlikely that this wine could be topped by a 2022 Pinot Noir - Les Saintes Claires. But that's how it was, and in the end, I left the 100 points as they were and didn't revise them. There aren't that many 100-point Pinots in our database, and if they do exist, they haven't come from Alsace before. Is Alsace now a new stronghold of Pinot Noir? Certainly not. But the region is developing rapidly in this regard. Nevertheless, I believe that this Barthelme Pinot is a rare stroke of luck not only for the family but also for the entire Alsace and for all Pinot Noir lovers. Here, in this vintage, everything was just right, and the wine is a magnificent expression of a small but very special limestone plot that is planted in high density with the very best genetics. Although I have only been tasting Albert Mann reds for 10 years, the development of the estate over this short period has been so successful that it has become a beacon in France. It is therefore fortunate that the next generation is ready and waiting, or is already having a noticeable influence, with Jacky and Marie-Therese's son Antoine. By the way, the first grand cru Pinot Noir from the Hengst (formerly called Grand H) is also terrific, not to mention the Gewurztraminer from the Furstentum.
