サンタ・バーバラのグランクリュ、冷涼感たっぷりのビエン・ナシード・エステートのブドウより、上級キュヴェ「ザ・キャプテン」 50年以上の歴史を持つワイナリーで、スペイン語の「Bien Nacido」は「Well Born」の意味を持ちます。畑は1969年にミラー家が購入し、72年から植え付けを始めました。太平洋から約30キロ。霧の影響を受けて、極めて涼しく、ハングタイムが長いのが特徴です。 サンタ・バーバラのビッグボス、オー・ボン・クリマ、オハイ、シネ・クア・ノン、ピエドラサッシら有名ワイナリーが、ブドウの供給を受けて、畑の名前を高めてきました。ビエン・ナシードが自家元詰するワインの品質も高くワインメーカーのトレイ・フレッチャーと栽培マネジャーのクリス・ハメルが高品質をものにしています。 「ザ・キャプテン ピノ・ノワール ビエン・ナシード・ヴィンヤード」は、サンタ・バーバラのグランクリュ、冷涼感たっぷりで素晴らしいブドウを生み出すことで有名な銘醸畑ビエン・ナシード・ヴィンヤーズで作られるブドウを使用します。チェリー、ハイビスカス、クローブのフレーバーがバランス良く香る1本です。味わい深いこのワインは、しっかりとしたタンニン、バランスの取れた酸味、スパイシーなフィニッシュが特徴です。セントラル・コーストで作られるピノノワールのワインで最高スコアを獲得しています。 Bien Nacido Estate The Captain Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyard ビエン・ナシード・エステート ザ・キャプテン ピノ・ノワール ビエン・ナシード・ヴィンヤード 生産地：アメリカ カリフォルニア セントラル・コースト サンタ・バーバラ 原産地呼称：AVA. On the palate, it's medium-bodied and tensile, more edgy in style than the wines from further down the slope, with a bright core of fruit and a tangy, mouthwatering finish. This will need some time to unwind, but it's a very distinctive expression of Bien Nacido. 172 cases were produced. Focused and energetic in the glass, with lifted aromatics and lovely inner perfume, the Captain is highly expressive. Bright red stone fruit, chalk, white pepper, mint and flowers add to the wine's bright, weightless feel.
