紡いできた確かな歴史と素晴らしい畑をそのままボトルに詰め込んだような、 クリーンかつエレガントなバルバレスコを生み出す生産者！

イタリアにおける銘醸地の代表ピエモンテ州、その南西部にバルバレスコの生産エリアは広がっており、その生産の核を担うバルバレスコ村はアペラシオンの北西部、タナロ川に沿うように位置している。その中でも屈指のクリュとして名高いオヴェッロはバルバレスコ村の北部にある丘を中心に村全体を見下ろすように広がり、その丘の最上部には樹齢100年を越す松の木がそびえ立っているが、この松の木をシンボルとワイナリー名の由来にしているのがカンティーナ・デル・ピーノである。

「バルバレスコ オヴェッロ」の畑は丘の頂上に位置し十分な日射量があるが、谷からの風が吹き抜けるため非常に繊細な特徴を持つとされるクリュ。樹齢70年の古樹がそのテロワールを表現し、際立ったエレガンスと生き生きとしたミネラルを持つ、繊細でありながら凛々しく美しいクリュ・バルバレスコとなっている。

With fruit from Neive on loamy limestone soils, the Cantina del Pino 2020 Barbaresco Gallina is terrific. The wine shows elegance and a lingering sense of growing power that gives it a tight and more compact mouthfeel. The Gallina has a little more tannic power and structure compared to the others in the portfolio. Only 1,800 bottles were made.
