ダットン・ランチはキスラーが創設当初に手に入れた畑。ソノマの中心部にあり、太平洋から約16km離れた場所に位置しています。とても涼しい気候が特徴で、ピノ・ノワールとシャルドネの栽培に最適の地です。 土壌は"ゴールドリッジ"と呼ばれる、非常に水はけがよい泥質と砂質の土壌で、30年を超える樹齢の高い樹から層の厚い構造を持った濃厚なワインが造られます。

The 2009 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch fleshes out beautifully on the mid-palate with layers of expressive, radiant fruit. The wine finds its minerality and center on the mid-palate. Apricots, pears, flowers and subtle, darker hints of earthiness come to life on the finish. This is a very complete, beguiling Chardonnay loaded with complexity and sheer class. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019.
