The complex nose of citrus blossom, mint, lemon and lime zest opens up slowly as this aerates in the glass. The wine’s ample structure is still quite firm, which is a vintage characteristic, the mousse very fine but also very lively for an eight-year-old champagne. Cristal fans will love this as it is, but a year or two more in the bottle will do a lot for the very long mineral finish of this youthful masterpiece. A cuvee of 60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay, picked from all 45 Cristal vineyard plots. Tasted at the Cristal vertical tasting at the champagne house on July 6th, 2023. Drink from release. Stuart Pigott Senior Editor VINOUS：96 ポイント 96pts Drinking Window 2025 - 2040 From: Champagne: The 2023 Spring Preview (May 2023) I have tasted the 2015 Cristal three times so far - once as part of an extensive vertical I will be reporting on shortly, and then later in my office. Those tastings paint a portrait of a complex Champagne that is still finding its center. Tasted at the maison, the 2015 is rich, dense and explosive, with tremendous textural intensity and also a good bit of energy to back it up. Citrus confit, spice, ginger, chalk and dried flowers abound in a Champagne endowed with tremendous aromatic presence in a style that offers notable richness, but lighter than vintages such as 2012. There is a bit of the savoriness that is such a signature of the year, but it is nicely integrated in the wine’s fabric. Two later tastings in my office strongly suggest the 2015 has already started to shut down a bit, which is a shame, as it may be hard to read for some time to come. Dosage is 7 grams per liter. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of citrus oil, crisp stone fruits, white flowers, crushed mint and subtle hints of buttery pastry, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with a deep, concentrated and rather introverted core of fruit framed by chalky extract and animated by a pretty pinpoint mousse. Seamless and elegant, the 2023 is an absolute delight. Blood orange, spice, mint, tobacco and dried flowers all build in the glass. The 100% stems are present but beautifully integrated. The 2023 is a superb wine for the year and for Raen. It has plenty of youthful, coastal energy, but is not quite as austere as the two other Pinots in the range. Vertical and explosive, the 2021 possesses mind-blowing intensity and dynamic energy to burn. The 2021 is a heady, racy wine that captivates all the senses. Tobacco, mocha, cedar, leather, dried herbs, menthol, licorice and plum saturate the palate in a wine that dazzles from start to finish. The 2021 was bottled in late September 2023, much later than most wines, yet it is so expressive today. It was magnificent from barrel, and it is every bit as breathtaking today. Quite simply, Les Carmes is on another level. ALSACE GRAND CRU ぶどう品種：リースリング 100% アルコール度数：13.0% 味わい：白ワイン やや辛口 ワインアドヴォケイト：99 ポイント The Wine Advocate RP 99 Reviewed by: Stephan Reinhardt Release Price: NA Drink Date: 2024 - 2060 From a total of five different plots, including Tiefenthal and Kirrenbourg, and based only on the old vines, the 2022 Alsace Grand Cru Schlossberg Riesling is very clear, fresh and complex on the minerally intense and herbal nose with all its layers of ripe fruit, weathered granite rocks, herbs and flowers. Highly refined and elegant on the first palate, this is a full-bodied, intense and rich yet crystalline, very elegant and highly stimulating Schlossberg with fine tannins and bitters on the complex, endlessly saline and well-balanced finish. This is great, complete and touching Riesling and one of the finest Schlossbergs produced in 2022. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2024. The last few years have not been getting any easier, not even in Alsace. Increasingly, drought and heat are affecting the vines, and the younger they are, the more they suffer. In any case, the Barthelme family is fortunate to have such a high proportion of old vines that are not affected by drought stress. Even in 2022, it was possible to produce a magnificent Schlossberg Riesling that is among the best I have ever tasted from this Riesling-granite site, which is endangered due to its barrenness. It seems unlikely that this wine could be topped by a 2022 Pinot Noir - Les Saintes Claires. But that's how it was, and in the end, I left the 100 points as they were and didn't revise them. There aren't that many 100-point Pinots in our database, and if they do exist, they haven't come from Alsace before. Is Alsace now a new stronghold of Pinot Noir? Certainly not. But the region is developing rapidly in this regard. Nevertheless, I believe that this Barthelme Pinot is a rare stroke of luck not only for the family but also for the entire Alsace and for all Pinot Noir lovers. Here, in this vintage, everything was just right, and the wine is a magnificent expression of a small but very special limestone plot that is planted in high density with the very best genetics. Although I have only been tasting Albert Mann reds for 10 years, the development of the estate over this short period has been so successful that it has become a beacon in France. It is therefore fortunate that the next generation is ready and waiting, or is already having a noticeable influence, with Jacky and Marie-Therese's son Antoine. By the way, the first grand cru Pinot Noir from the Hengst (formerly called Grand H) is also terrific, not to mention the Gewurztraminer from the Furstentum. The wines made from this site were historically reserved for the abbot. These vines were planted in 1907 and have immense genetic variety, including a small proportion of other historic varieties like Heunisch, aka Gouais Blanc. Located on the eastern fringe of Weissenkirchen, along the Schildbachgraben, this is like an amphitheater looking southeast across nine terraces, shaded as of mid-afternoon. Gentle, subtle moss on the nose comes with a slight overtone of citrus. The palate is almost viscous, so fluid, but so fine-boned, immensely dense and rounded but without heaviness.       常に安定した高いクオリティ「カロン・セギュール」 メドック地区でのブドウ栽培発祥の地とも言われ、メドック地区のワインは全てここから始まったと言っても過言ではない「サン・テステフ村」。 この村で生み出されている「カロン・セギュール」は、メドック地区の格付けシャトーの中でも最北端、ボルドーのジロンド川河口に位置し、およそ48haの粘土質の多い土壌で、ボディーのしっかりした濃いルビー色のワインを造り出しています。 当時の所有者、「セギュール候爵」こそ、この「カロン・セギュール」という名の元になっている人物です。 18世紀、かのラフィットやラトゥールをはじめ、いくつもの有名なブドウ園を所有していたセギュール候爵ですが、「ラフィット、そしてラトゥールでもワインを造ってきたが、私の心はここ、カロンにある」と述べ、「カロン・セギュール」にその情熱を傾けました。 有名な「ハートラベル」には、そんなセギュール候爵の並々ならぬ熱い想いが込められているのです。 ■2019年ヴィンテージ情報■ 2019年はまさしく幸運の星のもとに生まれたヴィンテージです。偉大なる年と評される2018年同様、夏には暑く乾いた天候に恵まれました。いずれの品種に関しても水分ストレスが効果的にかかり、理想的な熟度の果実に成熟しています。ぶどうの衛生状態も申し分なく、メルローの収穫は9月24日から28日にかけて、カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンとカベルネ・フラン、プティ・ヴェルドの収穫は9月30日から10月9日の期間に実施しています。 フローラルでフルーティー、またしても多彩なアロマパレットが印象的なヴィンテージの誕生です。なめらかで上品で、優美さを感じさせるタンニンとともに、みずみずしい風味が広がります。2016年や2018年と肩を並べる秀逸ヴィンテージです。 Chateau Calon Segur 生産地：フランス ボルドー サン・テステフ 原産地呼称：AOC. It's already crunchy and saline on the fascinating nose. Lush and round on the palate, this is a highly elegant, refined and marvelously balanced Scharzhofberger with a long, complex and saline finish. Mouth-watering but also dense and textured, this is a highly intense and complex Spätlese with the concentration of an Auslese. There are fine and crunchy tannins structuring this enormous new entry that will probably be auctioned due to the famous origin and the naturally low quantity.
