ダイスのプルミエクリュの白の中では、もっとも軽やかで繊細かつ上品なスタイル!

1744年から続くダイス家は、フランス・アルザス地方ベルクハイム村に位置しています。1945年に故マルセル・ダイス氏がワイナリーを設立。現在は3代目であるジャン・ミシェル・ダイス氏が継承。創業当時約12haだった所有面積は、現在、9つの村に220区画、合計26haの斜面畑を所有するほどに拡大しています。

「何かを良くしようと思ったら、それは愛によってのみ可能だ」。現代アルザスワインの頂点を極めるジャン・ミッシェル・ダイス。アルザスに初めて「テロワール」の概念を持ち込んで大論争を巻き起こし、遂にはAOC法の改正(ラベルに品種名を表記しなくてもよくなったこと等々)を成し遂げた、信念の男。現在も彼が昔から提唱する、畑の個性に基づく「プルミエクリュ」を実現させるべく運動を続けています。

「マルセル・ダイス ランゲンベルグ プルミエ・クリュ」は、2004年登場の新作プルミエクリュ。1ha。平均樹齢20年。リースリング、ピノグリ、ピノブーロ、ミュスカ、ピノノワールの混植。畑はサン・イポリットの急斜面にあり、極めて痩せた花崗岩土壌。酸とミネラルに富み、ミネラルは塩辛く感じるほど。ダイスのプルミエクリュの白の中では、もっとも軽やかで繊細かつ上品なスタイルです。魚介類に非常に良く合います。

■テクニカル情報■
栽培：ビオディナミ（1997年ECOCERT認証、2007年demeter認証）。クローン樹を極力使用しない。
醸造：平均収量は33hl/hl（全アルザスの平均は78.80hl/ha）。白は除梗せず、赤は約80%除梗する。天然酵母のみで発酵。赤は木製開放槽、白は大樽で発酵。シュール・リー熟成。

The 2020 Langenberg is grown on granite in the village of Saint Hippolyte, at around 260m of altitude, fully south-facing. It is a field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat and Pinot Noir. After some yeasty reduction blows off, there is serene citrus on the nose, dried lemon, grapefruit peel and ripe pear. The palate immediately comes in with bitter orange pithiness on a slender, concentrated but lithe body. This is lip-smackingly taut, yet there is body, structure and poise. From granite soils, the 2020 Langenberg "La longue colline" offers a clear, pure and fresh, intense and floral bouquet of lemons and just-ripe pineapple aromas. Lean and light but also lush and round on the palate, with lingering salinity, fine tannins and phenolic grip, this is an excellent structured, light and vivacious granite wine with Riesling features but the texture and juiciness of Pinot. 13.38 % alcohol.
