ポムロールの偉大なシャトーの1つ、シャトー・レグリーズ・クリネのセカンドワイン！

クロ・レグリーズの息子とクリネの娘が結婚したことに由来するシャトー・レグリーズ・クリネ。ふくよかかつジューシーで、果実味豊かな味わいは典型的なポムロルのスタイルを実現しています。ポムロールの教会の裏手に4.5ヘクタールの畑を所有する小さなシャトーで、1983年にドゥニ・ドゥラントゥ氏が運営を引き継ぎ、さらなる品質向上に努めました。残念ながらドゥニは2020年に亡くなりますが、彼の二人の娘、ノエミとコンスタンスが長年ドゥニをサポートしてきたオリヴィエ・ゴトラ氏と共にワイン造りを引き継いでいます。

大規模な植え替えを行っていないため中には樹齢100年を超える古い樹も健在。密植度はヘクタールあたり8,000本。古木ならではの複雑さやスケールの大きさがワインの特徴となっています。生産量も少ないため大変希少で、品質の高さに反して、日本ではあまり知られていないシャトーの一つです。

「ラ・プティット・エグリーズ」は、ポムロ―ルを代表する偉大なシャトーのひとつ、レグリーズ・クリネのセカンドワインです。生き生きとした赤や黒の果実に花やハーブの要素が混ざるアロマがあります。口に含むとピュアで魅惑的な果実のフレイバーが広がります。深みがあり、たっぷりのチェリーやキルシュを思わせる要素が感じられます。集約がありしっかりとした骨格があります。長く心地よい余韻にはブラックベリーやラズベリーのニュアンスが漂います。

■テクニカル情報■
発酵はステンレスタンクで行います。熟成はフレンチオーク樽、全体の50％に新樽を使用しています。2020VTの生産量は4500本です。

Extremely enticing aromas of blackberries, brambleberries, sweet tobacco, bark and mushrooms follow through to a medium to full body that grows on the palate and crescendoes to medium, round tannins, juicy fruit and a long, flavorful finish. Rolls along the palate. Excellent, persistent finish. Try after 2024, but already a joyous glass.

The 2020 La Petite Eglise is another stellar wine in this range from the Durantou family. A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, the Petite Eglise offers all the signatures of the Grand Vin, but in a more accessible style, never a bad thing. Crushed flowers, red berry fruit, mint, blood orange, spice and pomegranate infuse the 2020 with layers of complexity and dimension. Deep and yet light on its feet, the 2020 is so expressive today. The 2020 La Petite Eglise reveals aromas of sweet cherries and berries mingled with petals and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated palate that's rather firm and serious this year. It will reward patience. Only 4,500 bottles were produced from dedicated parcels.
