2022年VINOUSワイナリー・オブ・ザ・イヤーに選ばれた「ヴィエッティ」が手掛ける、ヴェルヴェットのような滑らかなタンニンを伴う濃密フルボディのバローロ！

ヴィエッティは1800年代末にカルロ・ヴィエッティによりランゲの中心部に位置する中世の村、カスティリオーネ・ファッレットの高台に設立されました。バローロで初となるクリュワインを生産し、低迷していたアルネイスを復興させ、革新と成長を続けてきました。2016年よりアメリカのクラウゼ家の所有となり、創業当初からのレガシーを引き継ぎつつ、バローロとバルバレスコのエリアに焦点を当て更なる発展を目指しています。また芸術への関心も高く、1974年から秀逸なヴィンテージにのみ特別にデザインしたアーティストラベルのワインをリリースしています。

「バローロ ブルナーテ」は、プラム、柑橘、杉に加え僅かなスパイスを感じる力強いアロマで、時間と共にブルナーテの典型的な個性であるスミレの花が表れます。ヴェルヴェットのような滑らかなタンニンを伴う濃密なフルボディの味わいで、フィニッシュには甘草のニュアンスを感じます。

醸造：ラ・モッラのクリュ。粘土石灰質土壌、平均樹齢50年。ステンレスタンクで3週間発酵、大樽とバリックで約32ヶ月熟成。

The 2019 Barolo Brunate is a powerhouse. Black cherry, plum, spice, lavender, mocha, gravel and scorched earth all build as this virile, potent Barolo struts its stuff. The Brunate is another super-impressive wine in this range. To be perfectly honest, the Brunate has never been one of my favorite wines here, but the 2019 is undeniably great. Perhaps the combination of parcels Vietti has today explains the multi-dimensional vibrancy that comes through. This is simply magnificent. - By Antonio Galloni on November 2022

The Vietti 2019 Barolo Brunate shows an earthy, almost autumnal quality that you don't get in the other wines presented by this leading estate. The bouquet opens to dark fruit, peat moss and rusty nail. The wine is long and fine-textured with silky sensations that add softness to the mouthfeel. Hints of baking chocolate or espresso bean appear on the close.
