      過去にロバート・パーカーから17度も100点満点を獲得する「シネ・クア・ノン」が造る、アメリカの国内でも入手困難な1本！ シネ・クア・ノンはサンタバーバラ近郊のオーク・ビューに位置する小さなワイナリーです。シネ・クア・ノンとはラテン語で『不可欠なもの』という意味ですが、オーナー兼ワインメーカーであるマンフレッド・クランクルが語る“シネ・クア・ノン”とは、『真の美しさとは個々の主観を超越して心を開くと感じられる』という少し哲学的な考えによるものです。 1992年のリリース以来、ラベルは毎年アート性のあるデザインに毎年変更し、同じラベルは二度と使いません。またラベルだけではなくブレンドやワイン名も毎年替えております。各ワインにはユーモラスな名前をつけており、過去にはAgainst the Wall（壁に向かって）Other Hand（別の手）Impostor Mc Coy （ペテン師マッコイ）等があります。それだけ毎年違うワインを造り続けながらも、過去にロバート・パーカーから17度も100点満点を獲得しております。 「ピラニア・ウォーターダンス シラー」はすべて自社畑より収獲。Eleven Confession Estate35%、The Third Twin Estate34%、Cumulus Estate31%。 ELEVEN CONFESSIONSは、サンタ・バーバラの東、サンタ・リタ・ヒルズに位置する22エーカーの畑です。主にシラーとグルナッシュが栽培され、少量のヴィオニエ、ルーサンヌも作られています。比較的涼しい気候で、11月頃収穫されます。熟成がゆっくりと進むため、風味の豊かな果実が採れます。THE THIRD TWINは、セントラルコーストの街、ロス・アラモス近郊に位置する、2010年に購入した畑です。樹齢10年ほどのシラーやプティ・シラーが植えられています。砂質土壌で、全て自根葡萄です。 CUMULUSは、サンタ・バーバラの南、オークビューに位置する畑で、シネ・クア・ノンのワイナリーもここにあります。いくつかの区画があり、シラー、グルナッシュ、ルーサンヌの他、プティ・マンサンやトゥーリガ・ナシオナル、ムールヴェードルやプティ・シラーが栽培されています。比較的暖かく、通常一番最初に収穫が行われます。 ■醸造■ 全体の74%を除梗し、上面開放型の発酵槽にて発酵。フレンチオークバリックにて26ヶ月熟成。（新樽率54%） ■生産者よりコメント■ 今年のシラーとグルナッシュは、それぞれ「ピラニア・ウォーターダンス」と「シャクティ」と名付けました。チャクラの特性には「シヴァ」と「シャクティ」という2つの重要なシンボルがあります。「シヴァ」は知覚を表し、男性的な性質を持ちます。対して「シャクティ」は女性的性質をもち、活動的な力やエネルギーを表します。私はいつもグルナッシュを最高に美しい女性に例えて見ています。その為2014のグルナッシュは「シャクティ」と名付けました。 そうすると2014のシラーは「シヴァ」と名付けるとお思いでしょうが、私は型にはまることが嫌いなので他の名前をつけることにしました。以前ペルーに旅行に行き、アマゾン川でピラニア釣りをしました。釣ったピラニアを川へ返すと、彼らは水面で狂ったように踊り（Waterdance）、さざなみを起こしていきました。一見、無垢で無害に見えるものでも、その中には膨大なパワーや危うさが隠れていることがあります。このシュールなシーンがシラーのイメージと重なり、「ピラニア・ウォーターダンス」と名付けました。また、この時撮った写真が今年のラベルデザインになっています。 2014年も概ね良い気候で、2013年に割りと似ていますが2013ヴィンテージがしっかりとした力強い印象なのに対し、2014年はもう少し穏やかで、魅惑的かつセクシーなものになりました。 Sine Qua Non Piranha Waterdance Syrah シネ・クア・ノン ピラニア・ウォーターダンス シラー 生産地：アメリカ カリフォルニア セントラル・コースト サンタ・バーバラ ぶどう品種：シラー81%、プティ・シラー8%、ムールヴェードル6%、トゥーリガ・ナシオナル4%、グラシアーノ1% 味わい：赤ワイン 辛口 フルボディ ワインアドヴォケイト：100 ポイント Rating 100 Release Price $170 Drink Date 2018 - 2040 Reviewed by Lisa Perrotti-Brown Issue Date 30th Sep 2017 Source Interim End of September 2017, The Wine Advocate Blended of 81% Syrah, 8% Petite Sirah, 6% Mourvedre, 4% Touriga Nacional and 1% Graciano, sourced from 34% The Third Twin, 35% Eleven Confessions and 31% Cumulus (all estate vineyards), the provocative, inky purple colored 2014 Syrah Piranha Waterdance was made using 26% whole cluster and hits the scent scene with exuberant, pure creme de cassis, blackberry cordial and blueberry coulis notes with hints of espresso, licorice, garrigue and menthol, plus a gorgeous underlying perfume of red roses. The full-bodied palate is oh-so-elegant and pretty, revealing very finely pixelated tannins that beautifully frame the almost electric intensity, culminating in an epically long, licorice and chocolate-laced finish. (Oct 2021) The 2017 Syrah Eleven Confessions Vineyard is a bold, racy wine. Layers of deep, dark fruit build as the 2017 shows off its curves. The purity of the flavors is breathtaking. The 2017 was done with 29% whole clusters and aged in a combination of 59% new oak, 30% concrete and 11% neutral oak. Rita Hills. As mentioned in my report last year, 33 acres are planted here. Eleven acres of Pinot Noir were already planted when they purchased the property, about half of which has been grafted over, and a further 22 acres were planted by the Krankls in 2001. In order to fully ripen Manfred’s preferred medium-mainly Rh?ne varieties-in this area more commonly planted to cooler-climate grapes such as Pinot and Chardonnay, the Krankls need to go super low on the yields and long on the hang time. “This vineyard is by far the coolest of our vineyards,” Manfred recently explained. “Sometimes we don’t harvest until November.” Punitive yields of 1.5 tons per acre or less are common. In the years when it’s good and ready to sing, Eleven Confessions is used to make a single-vineyard wine under the Sine Qua Non label. “The wines have a lot of structure and presence,” Manfred commented. “The soil is mainly heavy clay, so the wines can be pretty muscular.” The blend is 88% Syrah, 3% Petite Syrah, 7.6% Grenache and 1.4% Viognier. Twenty-nine percent was fermented using whole clusters. It was aged for around 38 months in 38% new French oak, 11% used barrels and 30% concrete. Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Syrah Eleven Confessions bursts with notions of baked plums, stewed blackberries and black cherry preserves, with an undercurrent of Sichuan pepper, violets, chocolate mint and charcuterie, plus a lifted suggestion of black raspberries. Rich, full-bodied and decadently opulent, the palate explodes with pepper-spiked black and red berry preserves, framed by fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing epically long and spicy. Very impressive. 921 cases, 228 magnums and 24 double magnums were made. This is due to be released in fall 2021.

Parker, Jr. Issue Date 31st Dec 2015 Source 222, The Wine Advocate Kongsgaard also makes an amazing Syrah from a clone he obviously knows a lot about, because it does remind one of a great Cote-Rotie such as Guigal’s La Landonne. Both the 2014 and 2013 are just loaded with notes of beef blood, grilled steak, raw beef, chocolate, asphalt, truffle and black olive tapenade. The 2013 has even more body and richness, and is a dead ringer for a great Cote-Rotie from Guigal, especially one with no Viognier in it. It is pure meat, blood and black fruits. Drink it over the next 15-20 years, although I found it irresistible when I tasted it.

Parker, Jr. Issue Date 31st Oct 2014 Source 215, The Wine Advocate The 2012 Syrah is a compelling example of this varietal. It is 100% Syrah, but it smells as if it includes a large quantity of Viognier. Huge notes of flowers, honeysuckle and lavender jump from the glass of this dense purple-colored wine along with notes of scorched earth, charcoal, smoked meats and a touch of steak tartar. A wine of great intensity and magnificent concentration, it could easily achieve perfection in a few years. Drink now through 2026. The mystical John Kongsgaard came out of the Newton winemaking factory where he was mentored by the great Michel Rolland. However, he has had his own operation for many years in the cool Coombsville hills east of the town of Napa. He also uses purchased fruit from some of Napa’s finest growers, particularly the Hudson Vineyard. His estate includes six acres on Atlas Peak and six acres in Coombsville, and he is in the process of clearing another tract for planting. Although his total acreage is small, the wines are artisanal, individualistic and filled with personality and flavor. Anyone who believes Kongsgaard wines are too alcoholic or rich is missing out on some of the world’s most pleasure-filled and complex elixirs. The Chardonnays include a basic cuvee, which comes from selected parcels John Kongsgaard has long worked with in the Hudson and Hyde vineyards (from Old Wente clonal materials). There is also an estate Chardonnay, the riveting, prodigious The Judge named after Kongsgaard’s father. It comes from a six-acre parcel planted in 1975 in Coombsville that never yields more than ten tons of fruit. It is Old Wente clone material, which old-timers claim, but can’t prove, came from Burgundy’s grand cru Corton-Charlemagne. With two great vintages (2012 and 2013) in the pipeline, and with 2014 looking superb at the time of my visit, Kongsgaard is overflowing with liquid treasures.

      ●セット内容（各1本） ステファン・オジェ コート・ロティ・ランスマン2010 (WA99点) 1500ml ステファン・オジェ コート・ロティ・ラ・ベル・エレーヌ2010 (WA100点) 1500ml ～しなやかな優美さを真髄とする新しいコート･ロティ～ オジェ家は、コート・ロティの中心地アンピュイを拠点に、何世代にもわたりブドウ農家を営んできた。 シャプティエやギガルなどネゴシアンにブドウを販売し生計を立てていたが、1983年に父ミッシェル・オジェがワインを醸造してドメーヌ元詰めを始めた。当時6歳だったステファンは父が行うワイン造りに魅了され将来ワイン醸造家になることをその時に決意する。ボーヌや南アフリカで修業を積んだステファンが1997年にドメーヌに加わり、親子二人三脚でワイン造りがスタート。数年後にはコート・ロティのトップ生産者に数えられる注目すべき存在となる。 2007年以降、すべての栽培と醸造を息子ステファンが引き継ぎ、世代交代が行われた。華やかでセクシー、そしてしなやかな優美さを合わせ持つ新しいコート・ロティのスタイルを確立していく。ステファン曰く、『コート・ロティはパワフルなイメージがあるけど、畑はローヌ渓谷でも最北に位置する非常に傾斜のきつい丘陵地、本来はフィネスがありエレガントなワインが造られる。』その特徴をワインに表現しようと日々研鑽を積む。 父とワインに対する考え方の大きな違いはないが、ブルゴーニュで行われている細かな畑の作業や区画（リューディ―）ごとに収穫、醸造することを取り入れることでより洗練されたワインへとステップアップしていった。現在、コート・ロティには、20区画を所有、それらの区画をさらに樹齢や土壌キャラクターの違いで66タンクに分けて醸造を行っている。また区画ごとに全房発酵か除梗するかを判断している。
