2017年に畑を購入したダイス4つ目のグラン・クリュ! 1744年から続くダイス家は、フランス・アルザス地方ベルクハイム村に位置しています。1945年に故マルセル・ダイス氏がワイナリーを設立。現在は3代目であるジャン・ミシェル・ダイス氏が継承。創業当時約12haだった所有面積は、現在、9つの村に220区画、合計26haの斜面畑を所有するほどに拡大しています。 「何かを良くしようと思ったら、それは愛によってのみ可能だ」。現代アルザスワインの頂点を極めるジャン・ミッシェル・ダイス。アルザスに初めて「テロワール」の概念を持ち込んで大論争を巻き起こし、遂にはAOC法の改正(ラベルに品種名を表記しなくてもよくなったこと等々)を成し遂げた、信念の男。現在も彼が昔から提唱する、畑の個性に基づく「プルミエクリュ」を実現させるべく運動を続けています。 「シュロスベルグ グラン・クリュ」は、2017年に畑を購入したダイス4つ目となるグラン・クリュで、ファーストヴィンテージは2018年です。標高230～400メートルの急斜面丘陵に、中世に築かれた全長1kmにも及ぶ石垣によってテラス状に拓かれた荘厳な畑。1ha。花崗岩基盤の砂質・粘土質土壌。リースリング主体で他数品種の混植。平均樹齢15年。収量は18hl/ha。残糖2.9g/lの辛口。 「シュロスベルグに巡らされた、まるで涼しい峡谷に落ち込む切り立った崖のような石垣は、花崗岩からこぼれた、細かくざらざらした灰色の砂を大切に堰き止めています。目がくらむような高さ、シリカ（土中の重要成分である二酸化ケイ素）、まばゆいばかりの光、そして澄み切った透明度といったこの畑のすべては、そのままこのワインの、唾液が出るような垂直性、力強いミネラル、そしてシャープな鮮度感となります」。 ■テクニカル情報■ 栽培：ビオディナミ（1997年ECOCERT認証、2007年demeter認証）。クローン樹を極力使用しない。 醸造：平均収量は33hl/hl（全アルザスの平均は78.80hl/ha）。白は除梗せず、赤は約80%除梗する。天然酵母のみで発酵。赤は木製開放槽、白は大樽で発酵。シュール・リー熟成。 MARCEL DEISS SCHLOSSBERG GRAND CRU マルセル・ダイス シュロスベルグ グラン・クリュ 生産地：フランス アルザス 原産地呼称：AOC. Stuart Pigott Senior Editor vinous：95 ポイント 95 Drinking Window 2025 - 2060 From: Alsace 2020s and 2021s: Just like Janus (Apr 2023) The 2020 Schlossberg Grand Cru grows on granite with very little topsoil and is a blend of Riesling with just a touch of Pinot Gris and Muscat. The nose is of ripe, golden pear, with overtones of dried pear and chamomile. The palate has the clean-cut linearity of granite, is arrow-straight and yet manages to carry real and generous richness and bundle power in its unremitting directness and saltiness.
