シャブリ全体の1/4程度を生産する最良生産者協同組合が手掛ける、非常に凝縮感のあるグラン・クリュ 「レ・プルーズ」

シャブリと正面から向き合い、シャブリのテロワールを表現し続けているラ・シャブリジェンヌ。現在およそ300名ほどの組合員からなる生産者協同組合です。

設立は1923年、当時経済危機に直面したシャブリ地区の生産者たちが創設しました。その後、より高品質で独自のスタイルを持ったワインの生産に注力するため、シャブリジェンヌが主体となって収穫を行い、組合員からはワインではなくマストの形で受ける体制を構築。この手法が今日のシャブリジェンヌの特徴を決定づけており、彼らのシャブリが名声を集める基盤になっています。

現在ではシャブリ全体の1/4程度を生産する恵まれた環境とテロワールへの飽くなき探求心から、シャブリを代表する最良の生産者協同組合として知られています。

「シャブリ グラン・クリュ レ・プルーズ」は、香りは軽やかで、見事なミネラル感が感じられます。 非常に凝縮感がある白ワインです。

Exotic citrus, lime peel, grapefruit and lemon zest, all combined with stony minerally accents, light honey and spices. The palate has a superb succulent sweep of fruit flesh and deeply intense and ripe white nectarines. A little hazelnut to close. Terrific. Drink or hold.

The 2016 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is lovely, offering up notes of orange blossom, mandarin oil and salty oystershells. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, stony and tensile, with good cut and a saline finish. It's a classic, mineral Les Preuses that should drink well for a decade.

The 2016 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru has one of the superior aromatics: flint and smoke at first, citrus fruit with apple peel and light Conference pear aromas. I like the detail here and unlike others, the sulphur is handled well. The palate is crisp and taut with a fine bead of acidity, nicely balanced with a sense of harmony.
