ブルゴーニュの「黄金の丘」と呼ばれる、言わずと知れた白ワインの最高峰ル・モンラッシェ!

ルモワスネは1879年設立のネゴシアン。年代物の古酒は大量のストックをしています。前当主のローラン氏は最後のブルジョアとも言われるほどの裕福な家系。その豊富な財力で60年代,70年代,80年代は現代のトップドメーヌから大量のワインを買い付けています。その素晴らしいワインが、彼のカーヴにて樽から瓶に詰められた後、一切動かされずに今も大量に眠っており、現在その味わいは酸、タンニン、果実味全てが溶け合った魅惑的な味わいを醸し出しております。

また、ローラン氏の考えから古酒の輸送には、瓶内の澱が悪影響を及ぼすとの事から1本1本丹念に澱を取り除いています。その後、コルクを抜き澱の不足分を同じワインから注ぎ足しリコルクして出荷いたします。深い眠りと丹念な世話により出来上がったワインは、他のドメーヌでは考えられない程の長熟なワインを生み出しています。

The 2018 Le Montrachet Grand Cru has turned out very well indeed, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, citrus oil, white flowers, orange zest and warm bread, its new oak already more integrated than in Remoissenet's B?tard. Full-bodied, ample and layered, it's muscular and concentrated, with fine structuring dry extract and a seamless, complete profile.

A wine of reserve and nobility, the 2018 Le Montrachet Grand Cru is superb. Fresh, vibrant and explosive in the early going, the Remoissenet Montrachet opens up beautifully in the glass. Striking aromatics and rich fruit play off the wine’s natural energy so well. Readers will want to cellar the 2018 for at least a few years to allow some of its natural exuberance to emerge more fully.
