カルト的人気を誇るシネ・クワ・ノンで8年間修業した後、独立したマギー・ハリソン氏が手掛ける知る人ぞ知るオレゴン・ウィラメット・ヴァレーにある「アンティカ・テッラ」。トップ・キュヴェである「セラス」、「ボタニカ」、「アンティキテラ」がVINOUSやジェームスサックリンで途轍もない高評価を獲得し、今やオレゴンのスーパーカルトワインとも呼ばれているこのワイナリーです。

オレゴン州ウィラメットヴァレー、ポートランドから車で南へ35分の距離にあるエオラ・アミティ・ヒルズに11エーカー(約13,470坪)の畑を所有。初めてブドウが植えられましたのは1989年です。

「ボタニカ ピノ・ノワール」は、この地の植物相の豊饒さと豊穣さを表現している。魅力的なテクスチャーとみずみずしい個性だけでこのワインを定義したくなるが、同じように印象的な構造的要素もある。並外れた凝縮感と際立った緊張感のバランスこそが、このワインの本質なのだ。ボタニカはワイルドローズ、サワーチェリー、ブラッドオレンジの味わい。うっとりさせるテクスチャー、青々とした緑を表現豊かに感じる 。しっかりとした構造と濃縮された果実味のバランスが感動的。

This pinot proffers detail and textural nuance, as well as aromatic complexity and fresh flavor. The nose is packed with intense raspberry and dark cherry, as well as toasted baking spices and dark chocolate. On the palate it has a very sleekly defined feel with a central focus of flavor and acidity. Fresh yet ripe with fully resolved tannin maturity and seamless resolve. Drink or hold.

Brilliant ruby. Intensely perfumed red and dark berry, floral oil, succulent herb and sandalwood scents show superb detail and spicy lift. Gently chewy and penetrating on the palate, offering intense Chambord, kirsch and blueberry flavors and suave lavender pastille and exotic spice flourishes.
